Day 6: The Weather

Yep, it is often quite rainy in London. Was planning on getting up early today to get some photos on the walk to class, but I heard rain when I woke up and decided to sleep in a bit more. Got up later, and it was still raining. I decided not to bring my camera because of the rain. What happens then, of course, but it is a beautiful day out when I get out of class at around 5.00 pm!! It would have been perfect for taking the long way home and getting a bunch of pictures. Oh well, there will be more days! I think my new plan is to always have my camera with me, even if it means having to carry more stuff. I know I'll just regret it more if I don't bring it again.

Of course, I'm sure that if I do have my camera, the weather will then become bad again. It's like it knows when I don't have my camera with me and would be bummed to miss out...

Hey Haley!
It's Tuesday at 5:50 and I'm just about to end my day. Hoping you'll call or email before I leave. I just re-read and viewed all your entries and pictures. This is going to be an amazing diary of your London experience. Your pictures take my breath away and give me a real sense of London's beauty along with glimses into areas most tourist typically don't see. My only wish (of course) is that some of the pics have you in them. I miss your face :)

Dad and I are planning our first weekend without the cabin - hoping to take a long bike ride on my new bike. We've made a lot of changes in a short period of time, the house is quiet and your dad will need to adjust his grocery purchasing. You know he tends to cook for an army.

Have you started at BBDO yet? Give us some details on that too.

Praying God continues to bless you and keep you safe everyday.

Love you tons,
Mom
