Headed to Brick Lane on Sunday with a friend, Michelle, for our Images in Britain Through the Arts class. It wasn't really necessary to do the homework, but we wanted to check out the Bangladeshi area of London anyway and get some good food while at it.
Very lively place with all sorts of people. We ended up getting Indian food at a place where they offered us 20% menu prices, no service charge, and a free first round of drinks. I guess this is pretty common, and we got lucky because we were looking around a bit before most people ate too. A little wary that there was no one else in the restaurant when we entered, our fears vanished by the time we left as the restaurant had a full house. Great food! I'll put up the pictures soon.
